Our History
Wade Family Medicine was established by Dr. Ralph D. Wade and Dr. LeRoy C. Taylor in 2001. In February of that year, Dr. Wade and Dr. Taylor cared for their first patients in an office just off Medical Drive. It wasn’t too long before they built out their own office space in their current location, the Square at 2600, with the vision of creating the unique model of patient centered health care that exists today.
Originally building a cohesive trust being mutually employed with the same medical group from 1996, they formed a partnership in 2009 until Dr. Taylor retired in 2013. From the very start, Dr. Wade and Dr. Taylor set out to establish a medical practice with a strong focus on prevention, wellness and patient centered heath care. The physicians knew that empowering patients through education and empowering them to be active in their own healthcare was key to helping them achieve their health goals. It was their goal to develop Wade Family Medicine as a patient centered health care provider, offering many needed healthcare services with the patient’s best care path in mind.
